I'm giving it only 4 stars because, while it worked beautifully, it was short lived.I have 3 cats. Two that are aggressive door attackers. One likes to jiggle the crap out of the door handle so much that I was actually looking for a finger print locker with no knob to stop her. While the other one digs so aggressively that he has torn up the carpet at the door (and he has no front nails) and given the first one ample room to shove her whole leg under the door in order to grab at it like a Monster from under your childhood bed!!!! And if that doesn't work to get my attention they then cry like dying seals for hours on end.I would like to say that I can keep my door open and if be fine but they are all snoopy little monsters and have one occasion attempted to jump up onto my tv...that's attached to the wall.....So I got this on the hopes it would work and omg did it work! I aimed it low and angled more towards my door so they wouldn't get a face full, but they stayed away! This kept them away even as the can was running out.This is my only complaint. The can is too small. It needs to last longer. It was out after 5 days. This was with me shuting it off until I came home.So in short, it works wonders but the small can doesn't last long enough.
