This is absolutely my favorite cologne for men. If I had to compare it, it is somewhat similar to Aqua Di Gio, but more sophisticated and longer lasting. I purchased this from another retailer for my husband for Xmas last year.He took it on one of his business trips and the bottle wasn't protected and as a result, busted in his suitcase. You would think this would be horrible and stinky, but everyone was complimenting on how good his bag smelled. What a ringing endorsement!When he brought the bag home, the scent just filled up the master bedroom and I loved it even more! I bought him another, larger bottle from Amazon and am making him only wear it when he's in town because I don't need the hussies all over him when he's out of town.All in all, this is a sophisticated, clean, yet very masculine scent that you and your man will adore.PerfectionIts expensive but good cologne usually is. No complaints so far about the smell ;)Scent is wonderful and long-lasting. However, I went to reorder and the price is totally outrageous now. There are too many other scents to choose from. Evidently, the company wants to discourage people from buying this. Too bad. I'll look for something else.I use this as a workday cologne--strong enough to get noticed but not likely to overpower (within reason of course). I was able to get this during the holidays and prices were very decent, I'm sure this fluctuates. Wait for a deal--I'd highly recommend sub forty price range, less so when above.I noticed some reviewers had complaints about the scent wearing off throughout the day. This has not been an issue for me. Might be due to differences in body chemistry.This is the best men's fragrance I have known or used. Women NEVER fail to notice and compliment. Never. It's some kind of magic potion. Maybe. But it sure is something.Subtle, classy, toney fragrance. Not delicate, but not strong. Ambrosia to women, but not even noticed by men. Worth every penny.I bought this for my husband twice several years ago, then after it was discontinued moved on to the new EZ fragrance, which was so nauseating it went right to Goodwill. I'm not sure what the new additive is that so many perfumes, shampoos, hair products and facial cosmetics have added to their recipes, but the older formulas are generally safe bets. This Essenza Di Zegna is sophisticated, sexy and masculine.This was a wedding gift to my husband 8 years ago. I have not been able to find this product any place but with this seller. I love the masculine smell without screaming "I AM HERE" kind of annoying smells. It is a cologne to try at least once.
